This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which refunds or cancellations are available for our services, including web development, e-commerce platforms, SEO, and related offerings. By engaging our services, you agree to these terms. All refunds are processed via the original payment method (e.g., Zoho Payments) and may take 7-14 business days.
1. General Principles
- Refunds are not automatic and are granted at our discretion based on the circumstances.
- All deposits (typically 50% of project fees) are non-refundable once work has commenced, as they cover initial planning, design, and resource allocation.
- Custom services, such as bespoke web development, are non-refundable after delivery or significant progress, due to the tailored nature of our work.
- Third-party costs (e.g., domain registration, hosting fees) are non-refundable.
2. Cancellation Policy
- Pre-Project Cancellation: You may cancel before work starts by providing written notice (email to mail@espider.in). Full refund of any pre-paid amounts minus a 10% administrative fee.
- During Project Cancellation: If you cancel after work begins, you are liable for all fees incurred up to the cancellation date, including time spent (billed at our hourly rate of $XX/hour). A minimum 25% cancellation fee applies to the total project value.
- Post-Delivery Cancellation: No refunds or cancellations for completed and accepted projects. Maintenance or subscription services follow a 30-day notice period for cancellation, with prorated refunds for unused portions.
- We reserve the right to cancel services for non-payment, breach of terms, or unethical requests, with prorated refunds where applicable.
3. Refund Eligibility
- Refunds are considered for: (i) services not rendered due to our fault (e.g., failure to deliver within agreed timelines); (ii) defective work not corrected after notification; or (iii) force majeure events.
- Requests must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the issue, including evidence (e.g., screenshots, project details).
- For e-commerce or subscription services, refunds are limited to the most recent billing cycle if unused.
- No refunds for dissatisfaction with results, as we commit to reasonable skill and care per our Terms and Conditions.
4. Refund Process
- Submit a request via email to mail@espider.in with your order details and reason.
- We review within 5 business days and notify you of the decision.
- If approved, process the refund (net of any fees).
- Disputed refunds may be escalated per our dispute resolution process in the Terms.
5. Exceptions and Limitations
- Promotional discounts or bundled offers are non-refundable.
- International transactions may incur currency conversion or bank fees, deducted from refunds.
- This policy complies with applicable consumer laws in India; for other jurisdictions, local laws may apply.
